Current & Ongoing
The Work: Mapping, Curating, Releasing
With the foundation in place, the project now has two ongoing streams of activity. Mapping anchors references to modern translations. Curation reviews each reference for quality. All work happens on live data, so you always see the latest improvements. The data is published openly on GitHub.
Mapping
The original TSK references are tied to the King James Version. Mapping anchors each
cross-reference to a modern translation so the connections work in the language people
actually read.
-
French — Segond 21Complete. All 1,189 chapters mapped. See coverage
-
English — Berean Standard BibleIn progress. See coverage
-
Afrikaans — Ou VertalingIn progress. See coverage
Curation
The TSK contains references of uneven quality. When we encounter weak, redundant,
or unhelpful connections, we remove or correct them. Systematic curation (ranking
references by strength, validating translation-dependent connections, filling gaps)
is a long-term goal that will come with better tooling.
-
Corrections as encounteredRemoving weak references and fixing errors when found during normal use.
-
Systematic reviewRanking references by strength, validating translation-dependent connections, filling gaps.
Data Release
The cross-reference data is published on GitHub under CC BY-SA 4.0. The dataset is updated as mapping and curation progress.
