What is this project?
Two things: (1) A free web-based Bible cross-reference tool, and (2) an open dataset that any developer can use to add cross-references to their Bible app.

Can I use this in my church/ministry?
Yes, please do! Our data and study tool are free. Share the website, integrate the data, whatever helps people study Scripture.

What Bible translations do you support?
French: Segond 21.
English: Berean Standard Bible, King James Version.
Afrikaans: Ou Vertaling

Does this work offline?
Not yet, but it's on a wishlist.

For Developers

What license is the data under?
CC BY-SA 4.0 for our cross-reference mappings. Bible texts remain under their original licenses. Read more.

Can I use this commercially?
Yes. CC BY-SA allows commercial use. Just credit the project and share any improvements to the dataset under the same license.

Do I need to open-source my entire app?
No. Only modifications to our dataset need to be shared under CC BY-SA. Your application code can be proprietary.
