This tool uses the cross-references from crossreferences.org, which build on the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge. The difference here is that we follow the connections further down the chain, which surfaces more cross-references and a hopefully better ordering. It sometimes also adds context verses alongside the ones directly referenced.

The scoring and the indicators evolve continuously, so they aren't documented in detail. Roughly, each level contributes less to the final score than the one before it:

• L1: Direct references in this verse
• Incoming: Verses which reference this verse
• L2: References found for verses in L1
• L3: References found for verses in L2
