The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. ... He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. ... The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
